(Quicktime required) The members of Sonarfist have carved unique niche for themselves with a powerful, yet dark blend of Classic, Metal, Progressive and Modern Rock, with influences ranging from Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, to Metallica, to Dream Theater and Tool and many in between. Their unique writing style has a distinct sound of it's own with Kelly Key's growling vocals and chugging rhythm guitar, John Stahl's heavy duty drumming, Ryan McCarthy's thumping bass and most present of all, Bobby "The Lead" Reid's haunting riffs and wailing guitar solos. Sonarfist is native to the Finger Lakes area of upstate New York in the town of Seneca Falls where they now rehearse. They are currently in the process of recording their debut CD titled Reptilian Elite at Hopewell Recording in Canandaigua, NY, due to be released in Summer, 2004.
